Many local clubs and societies publish up-to-date information about their local activities in the quarterly Castle Cary and Ansford Newsletter, (latest Newsletter is on the right of the home page) and there is always a comprehensive list of local societies and clubs on the back page of every edition

: includes great play and exercise equipment for children of all ages and adults, including a very popular zip wire and also 4 exercise stations for teenagers and adults.. Located at the end of Florida Street on the corner of the playing fields – see map
: includes a pump park for children and young people on their bicycles or scooters, wooden playpark equipment for children, and a wooden exercise trail for adults.. The field is a new acquisition by Castle Cary Town Council and Ansford Parish Council and is located between Florida Fields and Priory View – see map.
Greener Cary exists to support individuals, households, organisations and businesses in Castle Cary, Ansford and the surrounding areas in their efforts to be more sustainable and combat climate change. We hope to develop a network to help people and groups which join to keep in touch and find others who share their concerns.

We walk every other Wednesday about 6 to 9 miles, take packed lunch. Share cars, where necessary, to start of walk. Walk at own risk; age 18+. Meet at 9.30 am sharp in the Millbrook lower car park. Contact: Anne Pitt 01963 359621

Over 30 groups, including art, creative writing, bridge, patchwork and quilting, rambling, theatre visits, a luncheon club, plus a monthly meeting in Caryford Hall, usually on the last Friday of the month.
