Our trusty Community and Tourist Information Desk volunteers have returned to help answer questions from the community and give information about tourism in our town. They are working restricted hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10.00-12 noon and are operating from the Undercroft with a oneway system. Please follow the directions and observe social distancing and Covid-19 processes at all times. They have information about walks and leaflets about tourist attractions as well as our Welcome Packs for new residents. It would also be useful if you could keep them informed about your forthcoming events and activities as these at last begin to come on stream again.
Our Town and Deputy Clerks will see residents in person on an appointments only basis on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting from 10.00-12 noon. Please access them through the volunteers on duty in the Undercroft. To make an appointment

We are hoping very much to bring back Saturday coffee mornings as soon as possible but, having risk assessed the activity rigorously, we are sorry that at the time of writing it is still not possible. Please bear with us, as we are constantly reviewing the situation with information from daily Government updates. We have the safety of our community at heart.
Thank you for your understanding.
