This brand-new publication is based on the Cary21 exhibition which was held in the Market House this summer. It is a slim volume of 52 pages with well-written texts and lots of colour illustrations.
It provides insights into key moments in the story of our town, starting with a stone-age axe-head found in Churchfields in the 1970s through to modern times.
It has been produced by the Cary History Society.
Due to the current Covid situation it has been decided that it would be inappropriate to hold the planned book launch. The book will therefore be on sale from Monday 6 December in the Market House information point (open mornings only) and Bailey Hill Bookshop.
The special pre-Christmas price is £10.
It can additionally be picked up – or delivered – by arrangement – just contact [email protected]
All profits will be donated to The Market House project and Castle Cary Museum
