1. South Somerset Community Accessible Transport (CAT)
South Somerset Community Accessible Transport provides a demand responsive transport service for the area around Bruton, Castle Cary and Wincanton. It is there to help people who are unable to use a normal bus route due to mobility difficulties.
Local organisations can hire a fully accessible vehicle with or without a driver for group outings. Transport can be provided to access the main towns in this area or to link with other bus and train services.
If you would like to use the CATbus or need a car, you will need to join the scheme.
Come and chat to us and whether it’s a weekly trip to the supermarket or a one-off trip to hospital, we can help. You can pick up a form in the office and we can sign you up straight away. Or you can download the Application form and bring it with you. Or give us a call on 01963 33864 and we can pop one in the post to you which you can either give to the driver on your first trip or post back to us
Contact either Mike Rowlands or Jayne McDougal.
