In memory Barry Moorhouse who was an active member, and latterly Chair, of the Town Council his sons (Guy & Ben) will be cycle a 100 miles on the 23rd September to raise much needed funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.

They say:

On February 20th of this year, our wonderful Dad passed away after a battle with inoperable pancreatic cancer. An awful time, during which we needed whatever help we could get for Dad to give him and my step mum the best quality of life possible in his final weeks.

For us, this help came in the form of St. Margaret’s Hospice. Amazing people doing amazing work – giving everything to help people like Dad get every last bit of value out of what remains of their shortened lives.

My brother and I are supporting St Margaret’s, cycling 100 miles next month in my dad’s memory at the Vélo South sportive.

We would be so grateful if you could contribute whatever you can to our fundraiser – St. Margaret’s Hospice have limited financial support and need charitable donations to continue doing the vital work that they do.

Your help would mean everything to them and us.
