We “usually” meet on the first Friday of the month at 7pm, but there are rather a lot of exceptions in order to give a varied and interesting programme. Because it's Friday we try to make meetings fun and relaxed as well as useful! All meetings are open to everyone – just come along, and bring a small item of food to share, preferably home-made or sourced locally.
So our forthcoming programme is: -
Saturday 29 August - 9.30am at the Market House
A book swap session alongside CaryLive's castle-making session - bring a book and take a book.
Friday 2 September at 7pm
Barbeque with jam swap, food swap, recipe swap. Venue to be announced. We have ways of keeping you warm and dry!
Saturday 24 October - 9.30am at the Market House
Come and help have your apples pressed using traditional juicing equipment at the coffee morning. Bring your own apples and bottles. While you are there find out more about our group.
Friday 6 November - 7.00pm at Ansford School
Discussion on feasibility of garden-sharing scheme.
Friday 4 December - 7pm at Ansford School
Update on the “Transition Towns” scene; plus a look at the possibility of local shops operating a loyalty scheme.
Friday 8 January - 7pm at Ansford School
Revisit Freecycle. Swap unwanted Christmas presents or find them a good home.
